About

Ashley Nicole Zamberlan is a self-taught painter who began painting in 2025. Born in Northern Virginia just outside Washington, D.C., Ashley has called Texas home since 2013. She works full-time at the Dallas Observer and is a lifelong lover of writing and music. Most recently, she played Kelly in So That’s What the Moms Were Doing, an original play written and directed by Caren Spain. Ashley’s paintings are an exploration of color, ideas, experiences, and the world around her. She enjoys experimenting with color and using paint as a way to communicate what she sees and feels. As she continues developing her practice, she is excited to keep exploring painting en plein air and dive deeper into the details, textures, and moments that make the world interesting.
